I hope everyone had a fun-filled, relaxing and peaceful summer! As the proud principal of Dillard Street Elementary School and I would like to extend a warm welcome to our returning and new families!
The vision of Orange County Public Schools is to ensure every student has a promising and successful future. Here at Dillard Street Elementary, we work to achieve this vision everyday by providing standards-based, differentiated instruction to every student who enters our building. Meeting student academic and social-emotional needs is achieved through providing interventions and enrichment opportunities daily, allowing all students to reach their fullest potential.
Our teachers have been working very hard, throughout the summer, to plan for the upcoming school year! All grade levels will be following the Florida B.E.S.T. standards this school year, and taking assessments aligned to those standards at three different times. These are new standards and new assessments and throughout the school year we will be updating our families with important information to keep you informed. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you, to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential.
